Kamala Harris on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Calls Out Clarence Thomas
Since Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s appointment gave the Conservatives a 6-3 supermajority on the bench, the US Supreme Court has regularly served as a target for criticism from liberals. Justice Clarence Thomas has frequently taken the brunt of this because of his unreservedly right-wing positions. Vice President Kamala Harris was the most recent representative of the Democratic Party to criticize the justice.
Harris appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Monday, October 10, to discuss several facets of her ongoing projects. The vice president criticized the Supreme Court for its ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade and gave states the power to decide whether or not to permit abortion procedures within their borders as soon as the topic of abortion came up during their conversation.
Harris then singled out Clarence Thomas’s remarks that implied the Supreme Court would also alter contraception law.
