IRS AUDIT Of Top Democrat’s Church Requested!

Must Read

A church that counts a Democrat senator among its senior pastors could face an IRS audit after a watchdog group filed a complaint against it. Tax experts say the church owns an apartment building — but hasn’t listed it on its tax returns. Even worse, the church seems to have given up on Christian charity.

The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC), a conservative ethics watchdog organization, filed a complaint against Atlanta, Georgia’s Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Internal Revenue Service on October 12. Although the church, referred to as “the shells,” has received millions of dollars in state funds to house the homeless, over the past two years, it has attempted to remove 12 people with unpaid rent that only amount to an average of $408 each. After learning that the church owned Columbia Tower, a low-income apartment building in the city, through two front companies managed by the church, the NLPC launched an investigation.

Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA), who in August 2020 complained that callous Republicans sought to evict poor people in the middle of the Pandemic.
It now appears that Warnock was the one evicting people recently, in one instance, someone who was only $28.55 overdue on their rent. Additionally, $231,727 in rental income appears to have vanished between the church and the shell businesses.

What happened to it? The NLPC wants the IRS to look into several items, including that.
