Over the past few years, law enforcement has experienced an unbelievable amount of hatred. Despite this, young people have enlisted to serve their communities. In California, a group of fresh recruits recently needed hospitalization following what the police suspect was an intended assault.
On November 16, a car crashed into a group of 75 recruits from the STARS Center Academy who was out for a run. Twenty-five trainees were hurt, with injuries ranging from minor to critical. Sheriff of LA County Alex Villanueva, according to KTLA, claimed there is evidence that the accident was “a planned act.” After the collision, the driver’s foot, according to a witness, was still on the accelerator. She claimed that emergency personnel could detain and remove him from the vehicle when emergency personnel arrived.
