Leading Democrat Endorses GOP Candidate In SHOCKING Turn

Dr. Oz Gets Surprising Endorsement From Across the Aisle

Dr. Mehmet Oz is now running for the senate to keep Pennsylvania’s Senate seat in the Republican column. John Fetterman, a Democrat and lieutenant governor, opposes the conservative. Only a few weeks remain before voters go to the polls, and Oz has already received an unexpected endorsement.

Tom Knox, a Democrat, defied his party on October 7 and supported Oz for the US Senate. Rising crime rates were one of the factors cited by the former deputy mayor of Philadelphia in support of his choice. Although Knox “personally like[s]” Fetterman, he thinks the lieutenant governor’s “ideas on crime will make things considerably worse,” according to Townhall. He added that the City of Brotherly Love has “become increasingly perilous.”

One of the most closely followed races this election season is the contest between Oz and Fetterman. The men are competing for the vacant position that Senator Pat Toomey is leaving (R). The conservative legislator has held the position since 2011 but has opted against seeking reelection.

According to the polling average from FiveThirtyEight as of October 10, Fetterman is ahead, 48.3% to 42.3%. The contest is classified as a toss-up by the Cook Political Report, and rumors are that Republican expenditure against the Democrat hasn’t increased yet.
