Hillary Clinton Draws Comparison Between US and Terrorist Countries

Must Read

The decades-long federal protection for abortion came to an end in June when the US Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade. Following the decision, dozens of states have imposed limitations or bans on the practice. Hillary Clinton, a contender for president in 2016, is concerned that the country’s path has failed and has now compared it to countries that harbor terrorists.

Clinton gave a speech at the Women’s Voices Summit on Friday, December 2, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the Clinton Presidential Library. She reportedly stated it was “shocked” that America is “connected to poor Afghanistan and Sudan,” according to Fox News. The US, she continued, is high “economically advanced,” yet it is “properly grouped” with countries that support terrorism.

According to Clinton, there is a conflict “between autocracy and democracy” in the US. She demanded that women have better healthcare, especially those of color who are more likely to experience difficulties.

During an interview with Fox News’s “Hannity,” former State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus criticized Clinton for her statements. In Afghanistan, she claimed, “women aren’t permitted to work, that isn’t [sic] allowed to go to school.” She termed the comparison “utterly ludicrous.” In the meantime, women in Sudan “struggle for basic rights and nourishment.”
